301 Battery Street, The Reserve
301 Battery is a 185,850 square foot landmark Class A creative office building and events venue located in San Francisco’s North Financial District. Built in 1924, the property was occupied by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for over 60 years and is one of the finest examples of Beaux-Arts and Moderne architecture in the city.
Designed by famed architect George Kelham in a fusion of Beaux-Art and Moderne architectural styles, the Old Fed has been a prominent landmark in the North Financial District since its completion in 1924.
Originally, the home of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, The Reserve features stunning historic details throughout including exquisite murals hand painted by Jules Guérin, the majestic Banking Hall, soaring 25 feet marble columns, and custom designed walls and ceilings.
The Reserve embodies a rich and storied period in San Francisco’s history, earning it a place on the National Register of Historic Places.
