337 Lafayette Street
337 Lafayette is a three story utilitarian building comprising over 10,000 square feet on the corner of Bleecker Street and Lafayette Street. Built in 1920 by architect Louis A. Sheinart, 337 Lafayette was meticulously restored to its former glory over the course of three years.
This building with minimalist brickwork decoration and emphasis on windows for both light and display, represents the later phase of commercial development of the area and contributes to the mixed-use and diverse architectural character of the NoHo Historic District Extension.
